Flight Characteristics & Performance
Unlike a heavily-guarded cinewhoop, an open-prop 3-inch like this is built for agility and freestyle. The combination of a 3-inch frame with oversized Xing 1806 motors gives this quad an incredibly high thrust-to-weight ratio. It will not feel floaty like a standard 5-inch rig, but it will feel extremely snappy, locked-in, and responsive. It has the torque to pull out of dives instantly and carries momentum through wind much better than a typical micro drone.
Battery Recommendations
With 2500KV motors, this build can be flown on 4S or 6S depending on your flight style.
For 4S (Smoother Freestyle / Cruising): An 850mAh 4S pack gives you very manageable throttle resolution and roughly 5–7 minutes of flight time.
For 6S (High-Speed / Aggressive Freestyle): A 550mAh to 650mAh 6S pack turns this into a rocket. Expect 4–6 minutes of flight time with massive punch-out power.
